Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Customer Service.Principal Responsibilities

  • The jobholder plays a key role within the Branch Ops and Omni Channel Experience and is responsible for the overall operational capabilities of a full service branch/ Wealth Center with controls over the cash management , sales support and customer experience
  • The jobholder will work closely with Branch Directors, Customer Service Managers and team members and value add in the running of the branch operations
  • The jobholder will need to ensure that the team understands and executes processes correctly, manages risks and at the same time, meet the high level of service standard to our customers, where customers are treated fairly
  • The jobholder will oversee the overall cash management (cash supply as well as offsite machines management) for Branch Ops and Omni Channel Experience
  • The jobholder is required to have a broad operational knowledge and deep understanding of relevant internal and external regulations and guidelines. He/ she will provide guidance to peers to achieve achieve operational efficiency and customer service excellence in Branch Ops and Omni Channel Experience
  • The jobholders major challenge is to effectively lead and oversee the overall operations of the Wealth Hub location to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency from all areas within the wealth HUB
  • The jobholder have to keep abreast of the rapid business developments in Network and to have the ability to lead the team to achieve the desired results. Also, he/she is expected to lead and guide newer team members within Network
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years proven and progressive branch operations with an international FI
  • Strong communication, interpersonal communication skill, client centric and influencing skills
  • Sound knowledge of branch banking and FI sales operations
  • Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
  • Ability to lead and guide a team of members with varying backgrounds
  • A strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability
  • Have strong leadership, managerial, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, communications, analytical, interpersonal, motivational, negotiation, project management. A good understanding of a multi channel business model is essential
