We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis Singapore.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Strategic business partner to Senior Management in the production of timely, accurate, insightful and forward looking analysis of all global business, product and customer profitability reports to support decision making
  • Coordinate and manage the development of the Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan/Forecasts, including development of medium term outlook and analysis. Provide direction and support to key business partners
  • Partner with Strategy and Planning team in providing focused strategic solutions in support of the business financial strategy
  • Provide support on Strategic cost management initiatives including deep dives analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities in meeting cost targets
  • Drive continuous improvement of Management Information and proactively identify processes which can be digitized to create efficiency/capacity
  • Actively support, contribute and participate in the implementation of key strategic projects
Requirements
  • A good university degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • At least 5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years of experience in the banking industry with relevant management reporting experience in the area of financial planning and analysis, forecasting and strategic cost management
  • Possess strong commercial acumen and drive, effective business partnering and strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate and influence decisions
  • Good understanding of MIS (Management Information System) methodologies applicable to Banks including funds transfer pricing, costs allocations, risk/return concepts and other performance measurement metrics
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to break down complex situations, spotting trends and inconsistencies. Ability to apply logical reasoning and exercise independent judgement on issues and methodologies
  • Use of digitalisation tools such as Qliksense, Python, and knowledge of Finance TM1/Cognos reporting preferred
