The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.Main Duties and Responsibilities:We are seeking to hire a strategic thinker who is passionate about wildlife conservation and sustainability to lead our strategic planning and business excellence efforts across our portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a critical role that will help steer the future of our company and ensure its long-term success.Reporting to the Deputy CEO Transformation & Growth, this role will consist of 3 broad responsibilities:Corporate Strategy & Business Excellence\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the executive leadership and senior management teams to develop and implement overarching strategic plans and initiatives that align with Mandai Wildlife Group\'s overall purpose and long-term goals across Performance, People and Planet.\xc2\xb7 Support the organisation in making key decisions about the company\'s direction, market positioning, and competitive advantage through analyzing the external environment (e.g., competitors, customers, and market trends) and the internal capabilities of the company (e.g., strengths, weaknesses, and resources).\xc2\xb7 Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, assess risks, and prioritize initiatives, including identifying and unlocking synergies across Mandai Wildlife Group, Mandai Nature and Mandai X.\xc2\xb7 Drive business excellence strategy and framework selection / development for Mandai, including developing and strengthening the key management systems and processes across multiple domains to improve customer & revenue outcomes as well as improve productivity, to strengthen operational and financial resilience.\xc2\xb7 Manage the annual group corporate planning process and support departments in developing work plans and initiatives to achieve the corporate strategy, including setting short-term and medium-term goals, identifying the resources needed to achieve those goals, and establishing metrics to track progress.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans and gain buy-in across the organization.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and track progress against long term strategic goals, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful execution.Growth Planning\xc2\xb7 Assist with growth planning efforts, including collaborating with various departments to align growth plans with overall revenue and IRR objectives.\xc2\xb7 Lead the development of business feasibility studies, business case and financial modelling to support significant investment decisions and growth initiatives to ensure maximum return on investment.\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and industry experts to stay informed of emerging trends and best practices.Chief of Staff\xc2\xb7 Serve as Chief of Staff to Deputy CEO Transformation & Growth, providing guidance and support on a range of strategic and operational matters, as well as leading and coordinating special projects and initiatives as required that cut across multiple functions / teams.\xc2\xb7 Manage and lead a small team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across diverse teams and stakeholders.Requirements:\xc2\xb7 At least 15 years of experience in a combination of corporate-level strategy, management consulting, growth planning, operations management, business excellence or related roles.\xc2\xb7 Exposure to hospitality, tourism, conservation, or sustainability sectors is preferable but not mandatory.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated strong track record in developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives with impactful outcomes in driving topline growth and optimal operating models or cost structures.\xc2\xb7 Broad domain of experience and ability to connect the dots and uncover blue oceans.\xc2\xb7 Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic business environment, and strong learning agility with the ability to triangulate external developments for rapid impact analysis.\xc2\xb7 Outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to serve as the \xe2\x80\x9cconnective tissue\xe2\x80\x9d while fostering teamwork and synergies across diverse teams and partners across all levels.\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business challenges and opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Strong financial and growth planning skills to evaluate and identify improvements to business outcomes across a variety of revenue generating initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\xc2\xb7 Passionate about wildlife conservation, sustainability, Singapore, and making the world a better place.Specialization : Group Insights and Strategic Planning
