Broadridge is growing. We are actively recruiting for a dynamic experienced corporate attorney to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating business transactions and providing legal guidance and counsel to all levels of management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
You will prepare, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as master services agreements, services schedules, statements of work, amendments, addenda, strategic alliance agreements, licenses, and other business-related documents.
You will solve unique and complex regulatory, commercial, or legal problems with impact on the business unit or function and through conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
You will review business practices and policies and advise management of potential risks.
You will research and analyze various legal issues and advise business leaders.
You will support and advise business development and sales teams in creating and selling new products and services.
Under general supervision, you will carry out broad and complex assignments requiring comprehensive knowledge of the legal field.
You will evaluate matters which may have a major bearing on the conduct of our organization's business. Qualifications:
It is required that you are licensed to practice law and a member in good standing
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a corporate or transactional lawyer in a top tier law firm or part of that experience in an S&P 500 or fintech in-house practice.
Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience is required.
Requires ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues recommend process, product or service improvements solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business contribute to the development of functional strategy lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
Skilled at communicating, both verbally and in writing, with customers and at the senior leadership-level.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned job.
