Principal Responsibilities Monitors and controls daily operational activities to ensure KYC profiles critical for KRIs as well overall BoW progress as per plan Own triage calls with GSC teams and other support teams / stakeholders to monitor progress of KYC Profile completions as per BoW, KRI status tracking, RM engagements, monitor ageing of profiles Ensures that SLAs agreed with the businesses are met consistently ensure a consistently high level of internal and external customer service level is maintained by meeting SLAs, meeting timelines, and maintaining close rapport with customers Proactive engagement with internal customer through regular meetings/visits Participate in Audit / reviews and support any MAPs resulting from the reviews Effective management of an extensive network of stake holders within Digital Business Services, GLCM, Line of Business, Regional KYCO teams and GES teams Provide oversight on the outsourced activities and ensure the service performance met the predefined standard Work closely with Business to review and improve processes/workflows continuously Coordinating and activating contingency plans Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external Audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators Manage operational risk associated with the role and take action to minimize the likelihood of operational risk occurring, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting Foster a compliance culture and ensure all policies and procedures are updated and followed by the team Encourage teamwork and co-operation Identify streamlining opportunities to enhance sustainability in terms of cost, quality, customer impact and productivityRequirements Navigating - Understanding and translating Group Strategy into immediate Business/function and aligning direction for self and teams. the role holder is expected to embrace multiple stakeholder needs, translate immediate Business/function Strategy into Own unit and make right strategic choice for unit from a range of options Aspiring - Setting world class standards and embedding these in immediate Business/function area. the role holder is expected to have knowledge of world class standards across the industry, drive performance against leading standards and build the best capability for the whole Business/function Driving - leading from the front by courageously Setting and executing stretching goals for the immediate Business/function area. the role holder is expected to champion change across the Business/function, and set stretching goals Mobilising - Authentically engaging a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver at pace. the role holder is expected to embrace diversity and inclusion within the unit and improve employee engagement Sustaining - Making considered decisions that protect and enhance HSBC values, reputation. the role holder is expected to be a role model of the HSBC values and culture and enhance the brand of HSBC Ability to understand and Manage risk proactively Ability to track actions and take them to conclusion or escalate in timely manner Experience in KYC / CDD related activities and knowledge of various systems in use such as NGT, Pandora is highly desirable knowledge of Line of Business policies around CDD/ KYC Strong stakeholder management skills as the role is heavy on Coordination with GSC and Business RMs
