Job Description

We are looking for experienced healthcare industry professionals to join us as startup advisors for our VB Advisory Board. You will have the opportunity to get involved in identifying, advising, and nurturing the most promising healthcare startups and be part of their success.

VentureBlick aims to transform healthcare fundraising by matching healthcare startups with medical investors. We help healthcare startups get funding, market insights, and validation in one go through our unique fundraising and support mechanism. This is a platform where the medical community evaluates medical investment opportunities, in a systematic, large-scale, and global manner.

Note: This is not a full-time job offer, and the appointed advisors will not receive any cash compensation. Depending on your current employment compliance, we might offer non-cash incentives as a token of appreciation.

Your role

? Review, score, and provide comments to startup applications assigned to you by the VentureBlick admissions team every month (estimated up to 5 applications per month). You will be one of several VB Advisors assigned to screen each application before they are showcased on the VentureBlick fundraising platform

? Dedicate 1-2 hours a month to mentor shortlisted startups before their pitch days, depending on your availability

Who you are

? Minimum 15 years of experience in one of the following 3 healthcare areas -

• Commercialization:

Experienced professionals with global or regional commercial knowledge in launching new healthcare innovations into market, driving sales and distribution strategies, market and technology assessment, acquisitions, and/or strategic partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders. Familiarity with assessing commercial merits of healthcare innovations, particularly medical technologies. Held executive roles in multinational healthcare companies, medical distributors, healthcare accelerators, venture capital firms, or corporate ventures.

2. Market Access (Focus on Regulatory and/or Reimbursement):

Experienced professionals with deep technical skills in driving regulatory and/or reimbursement strategies to support market access of healthcare innovations in various markets. For the latter, we are seeking individuals with familiarity in assessing health economic models and driving strategies (cost effectiveness, cost utility, cost-benefit). Held senior roles in multinational healthcare companies, market access consulting, or regulatory bodies.

3. Clinical strategy and medical affairs:

? Experienced professionals with deep experience in developing or reviewing clinical strategies such as clinical study design and/or reviewing scientific communication to precisely communicate the value and clinical differentiation of healthcare innovations. Has expertise in translating scientific data into language that can be better understood by the public. Preferably also has experience with medical Key Opinion Leader (KOLs) advocacy and management. Held senior medical affairs roles in multinational healthcare companies, or are hospital administrator with experience in clinical innovations.

OR

? Clinicians and HCPs that can contribute insights into specific therapeutic areas and/or are interested in innovations and potentially taking up a more formal clinical advisory role with startups.

Previous experience coaching, founding, or investing in startups would be a plus but is not mandatory.

Location: Preferably Australia, Korea, China, Singapore, and the USA for the initial phase. We plan to eventually have a team of VB Advisors with experience covering all countries in which we operate.
