Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

• Evolve the way IT control environment (Application, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Public Cloud) are assessed, monitored and mitigated.
• Ability to use analytical thinking and automation (scripting) to solve security, risk and control issues.
• Identify, through automated means, security gaps, associated risks and mitigation strategies in our internal environment.
• Conduct independent assurance to evaluate effectiveness of IT controls.
• Actively advise and apprise management of all major risk, control and regulatory issues that impact the control environment
• Partner with stakeholders across Group Technology to assess and manage Technology Risks relating to Site Reliability Engineering, Cyber Security and Emerging Technology, including but not limited to Blockchain, 5G, IOT and Public Cloud
• Manage enterprise-wide Technology risks using principles of Risk Management by Design, Risk Management by Data and Collaboration
• Work with technology stakeholders to design and implement technical IT risk measure

Requirements

Experience in two or more areas in the list below:

• Virtualisation technology including container platforms
• Cloud computing technology
• Management of Network infrastructure components such as Routers, Switches, DNS, Proxy
• Development operations (DevOps) environment, with strong understanding of the IT infrastructure components/processes that are essential in supporting continuous delivery, integration, automated testing, and performance monitoring associated with application development
• Prior audit experience preferred but not mandatory
