We are organized by strategic HR domains and work in partnership with business groups to manage talent and build impactful teams. Our HR domains are: Graduate Recruitment, GIC School, HR Business Partnership, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Organization Strategy, People Analytics & Solutions, and People Operations & Advisory. The HR People Operations & Advisory (POA) team is looking for a suitable candidate to join us as Vice President, Employee Relations & Governance. Responsibilities Drive the employee relations strategy and continuously finetune related policies and processes globally Manage complex investigations and grievances independently Provide holistic advice to internal stakeholders and employees relating to employee relations policies, processes and employment governance matters Keep abreast of employment legislation developments and assess impact on talent strategy, policies and processes, recommend and implement appropriate course of actions Partner closely with cross department teams to meet enterprise objectives and proactively develop and deliver solutions to issues that arise Curate engagement and training content to share best practices and educate employees Prepare insights-focused senior management reports and perform thematic analysis to improve GIC's culture and controls Design and implement employment governance policies Requirements Bachelor's degree in any discipline 7+ years in Human Resources or related area (such as employment law), with at least 5 years' experience in managing employee conduct, grievances, investigation and employment governance matters Solid knowledge of employment legislation in Singapore, Australia, China, India, Korea and Japan Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-directed individual who demonstrates initiative, agility, resourcefulness and good judgment Ability to think strategically, analyse issues and problem solve Ability to work effectively under tight timelines in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdiction environment If you are interested in the role, please apply directly to the following link: https://careers.gic.com.sg/job-invite/14401/
