Job Description
They are looking for a VP level candidate to join their Singapore finance team, focusing on financial reporting, regulatory reporting and tax reporting for a number of legal entities across APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial close process, ensuring compliance to US GAAP and local GAAP requirements.
- Ensure a robust controls environment including adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
- Work with relevant stakeholders across legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with various internal and external policies and regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of year-end audit.
- Manage the relevant entities corporate tax, GST and transfer pricing reporting.
- Work closely with external auditors and tax accountant where necessary
- At least 10 years experience ideally within private equity or fund management industry, but candidates from investment banks can also be considered
- CPA qualified or equivalent
- Proficient in Mandarin (to business level i.e. reading/written/spoken) as will need to liaise with business stakeholders whose primary communication is in written and spoken Mandarin.
