Our client is a global Asset Management firm, focused on alternative assets including Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate.

They are looking for a VP level candidate to join their Singapore finance team, focusing on financial reporting, regulatory reporting and tax reporting for a number of legal entities across APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the financial close process, ensuring compliance to US GAAP and local GAAP requirements.
• Ensure a robust controls environment including adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
• Work with relevant stakeholders across legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with various internal and external policies and regulations.
• Ensure timely completion of year-end audit.
• Manage the relevant entities corporate tax, GST and transfer pricing reporting.
• Work closely with external auditors and tax accountant where necessary

• At least 10 years experience ideally within private equity or fund management industry, but candidates from investment banks can also be considered.
• CPA qualified or equivalent
• Proficient in Mandarin (to business level i.e. reading / written / spoken) as will need to liaise with business stakeholders whose primary communication is in written and spoken Mandarin.
