Location Singapore preferred. The VP, Global Head of IT Enterprise Architecture is responsible for leading the global IT Architecture strategy and roadmap, in alignment with the business strategy. The role\xe2\x80\x99s purpose includes:

• Developing and maintaining an appropriate IT Enterprise Architecture Strategy, including:

- Definition and enforcement of Architectural frameworks and standards.
- Ongoing Selection and implementation of tooling associated with the entire application lifecycle
- Ongoing evaluation, selection, and implementation of an appropriate technology stack.
- Retain, acquire, upskill, and motivate a high-performance team of Enterprise and Solution Architects, dedicated to delivering solutions with a best-in-class time to value, capable of supporting global idiosyncrasies, at scale, and within budget. * Leading global initiatives, including, the global cloud transformation and technical resiliency.

• Ensure alignment with Global business strategies, across multiple functions.
• Maintain and enhance DHL Express\xe2\x80\x99 visibility and reputation within the External Architectural communities, Vendors, Service Providers, and candidate partners. Ensure the Enterprise Architecture strategy reflects appropriate opportunities.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• Lead the global IT Architecture roadmap through global, regional, and country IT programs, thus supporting the business strategy.
• Develop the IT architecture and IT standards while turning new technology and logistics trends into low-risk, fast time-to-value, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Optimize processes, and reduce time to market and costs through innovation and the implementation of new technologies.
• Implement new technologies and industry standards that will give DHL Express a competitive advantage.
• Align and integrate the IT architecture with the IT strategy and with the business strategies.
• Identification of opportunities for optimization of processes and reduction of costs through implementation of agreed IT architecture.
• Ensure all IT solutions adhere to the agreed IT standards and are compliant with the DHL Express IT Architecture.
• Foster a strategic, aligned view of the IT target architecture realization through IT solutions.
• Retain, manage, upskill, coach, and motivate the IT Architecture team.
• Attract and retain qualified resources.

Do you have what it takes?

• Preferably 10 - 15 years of multi-disciplined IT experience, in large, high transaction, global organization \xe2\x80\x93 ideally with global logistics experience.
• Demonstrated track record of building, maintaining, and retaining high-performance teams.
• Experience with multiple large-scale cloud transformations.
• An existing presence in Enterprise and Solution Architecture communities.
• Experience in driving compliance in a large global organization with a high volume/ transaction environment, preferably in the shipment logistics area.
• Must have proven experience in defining and leading a large IT and organizational transformational program with proven delivered results in a large Global organization.
• Must have superior verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting to C-level executives.
• Must have extensive expertise in program management, with the ability to manage diverse initiatives simultaneously, keeping them all aligned with the IT Strategy.
• Must have extensive experience in the management of large multicultural teams with direct and dotted-line reporting, and be able to influence with or without direct authority.
• Must have knowledge and expertise in designing, developing, testing, and implementing modern solutions, including microservices, event-driven architecture, observability, and FinOps.
• Must have hands-on knowledge of successful large-scale Private and Public Cloud and IT hybrid environments.
• Must have knowledge and experience in Security, Data Privacy, and Data Quality principles implementations.
• Must have experience in the implementation of Agile Methodologies and managing technical debt.
• Preferable expertise in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning tools and methodologies in IT Solutions.
• Preferable experience in leveraging IoT solutions.
• Experience in an environment with very strict latency requirements and where the Business operations depend on the ability to sustain a \xe2\x80\x9c100% uptime\xe2\x80\x9d on most of the IT supporting environment.
• Advanced University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Advanced certification in program and/or portfolio management preferred.
• Business proficiency in English and other languages is an advantage.
