Group Financial Planning and Analytics (Group FP&A) supports the Business decision making of DBS Group through timely provision of relevant and accurate financial performance analysis and insights.

This position resides in the Group FP&A Budget Team which is responsible for delivering the Group\xe2\x80\x99s financial forecasts, scenario planning and annual budgeting.

Key Accountabilities

Participate and contribute on the following:

• Group Budget / GMC offsite / Board offsite discussions
• Group Budget review sessions planning
• Budget transfers and recalibration processes
• Forecast / Budgeting process enhancements / initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Budget and Forecast presentations (GMC offsites / Board offsite / Group Budget) and provide insightful analysis to support Business decision making
• Partner with Business Unit Finance teams/locations team on the Budgeting and Forecasting Process for the Group
• Review and co-ordination of budget transfers and recalibrations
• Drive MIS projects to improve MIS processes/systems or in line with business changes and requirements e.g GFWS Budget Transfer Day 2, Budget journey and other initiatives
• Drive Group Budget and Forecast process with focus on new central analytics to sharpen forecasts, particularly on FTE / Expenses

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or any related field, preferably a Qualified Accountant with strong academic background
• At least 8 to 10 years of working experience, preferably in FP&A function in international banks or banking audit in large accounting firms or other financial services firms
• Proficient in excel, powerpoint and other Microsoft office applications
• Experience with Tableau, Hyperion and Essbase tools is a definite advantage.
• Analytical skills with a good sense to the Business environment and attention to details.
• Clear and confident communicator, with the ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously.
• Driven and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high pressure and challenging environment.
• Good work ethics and enthusiast in learning
