The Opportunity:

As the Vice President of Sales for the Americas, you will be responsible for leading and driving sales strategies and initiatives across the region. Your primary objective will be to achieve revenue growth targets, expand market share, and strengthen the company\'s presence in the Americas market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Americas region, aligning with the overall corporate objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify strategic sales opportunities and develop appropriate go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes to ensure accurate revenue projections and timely decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to ensure alignment and maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on key sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to identify areas for innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and establish strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles, preferably as a Vice President or Director of Sales, with a focus on the Americas region.
  • Experience in Sanctions/Compliance or Maritime Domain Awareness
  • Strong experience in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets within a B2B (business-to-business) environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Americas market dynamics, including industry trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies, including market segmentation, pricing, and distribution strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools to drive productivity and sales effectiveness.
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Travel Requirements:
  • Potential internal & client travel domestically & internationally <10%
