The Vice President of Asia Pacific commercial will architect the vision and execution of biotechnology business. She/he will lead the regional commercial leaders to meet/exceed sales revenue, profitability, core value drivers to make Cytiva Asia Pacific a high growth market for Cytiva. This position collaborates across the organization to get results through influence. She/he plays the role of brand ambassador to position Cytiva as the go-to business partner for customers / vendors.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

  • Responsible for enterprise leadership delivering $1 B USD sales, daily operations, partnering with functions using Danaher Business System.
  • Accountable to deliver core value drivers of Asia pacific region \xe2\x80\x93 Core growth, quality, on-time delivery, retention of talent, talent development, margin expansion, and return on invested capital.
  • Through customer and market connections understand and identify the needs of various customer segments and design winning solutions.
  • Represent Cytiva in external business forums, Government bodies, key opinion leader chambers, and media as required to establish the brand of Cytiva.
  • Through critical insight on customer biotech/biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, support team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and expectations and simultaneously expand business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts.
  • Work with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other teams to ensure full execution of our sales strategies in the region (including orders, shipments, AR collections, contracts including renewals).
  • Lead sales funnel reviews and ensure reporting of all business opportunities, solution, and strategies to management using CRM and provide voice of customer and applications feedback to product development teams.
  • Responsible for people strategy in developing future leaders and talent internally and acquiring best-in-class talent from external.
  • Lead navigation of various changes from time to time and rally teams and leaders around the vision and mission of Cytiva
  • Responsible to keep a high standard of compliance, integrity, safety, and quality of day to day operations.
Who you are
  • Having tenured and hands on experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry
  • Should have handled
400 M$ P&L of an independent business / region in the past roles * Should have managed a team of more than 250 associates
  • Past experience of managing Asia Pacific region (India, South East Asia, Japan, Korea and ANZ)
  • A strategic visionary with strong track record of execution excellence
  • Someone with great influencing skill and followership both externally and internally
  • Should have experience of navigating matrix and driving common goals
