Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Engineering the infrastructure and develop continuous improvement for architecture optimization with cost effectiveness
• Operate the on premise S3 infrastructure including bucket provisioning, configuration, ACL management, lifecycle policies
• Monitor S3 performance and champion production resilience, availability and compliance
• Respond to, evaluate and analyse production incidents with troubleshooting and follow-up
• Handle system compliance, disaster recovery plans and drills
• Drive effective communication with clients to ensure application is well integrated
• Manage tech refresh and migrate S3 buckets for decommission
• Stay up to date with AWS S3 best practices and industry standard to enhance on premise S3 offering

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Deep understanding of S3 and cloud infrastructure
• Deep understanding of networking and Linux Operating System
• Experience driving major production incidents and organize incident retrospective meetings
• Experience with servers deployment and application setup
• Experience with automation tools such as puppet and ansible
• Experience with S3 setup and management such as IBM Cloud Object Storage, Cloudian Object Storage
• Experience with high availability, high-scale, and performance systems
• Experience with scripting languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with enterprise regulatory compliance and risks management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
