About You
You have an inquisitive mind and passionate to learn new things. You probably have graduated from university in the areas of Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science or equivalent, and have two or more years of experience in data analysis, dashboarding, and working with Python, R, Scala, and data science tools to create machine learning models. You would have worked with data before and have a clear idea as to how to extract features and ask questions about the data sets.
You might have also been working in the IT infrastructure and system operation or support areas with commensurate experience. You are very enthusiastic about data and the journey it goes on, moreover by how our journeys are shaped through and by it. You may want to dive in and conduct analysis, but this will tempered by understanding how important the outcomes of models are to those who depend on them, and you\'ll always consider their correct and proper use first.
You might have collaborated with developers, data engineers, and domain experts to develop and evolve intelligent ML models by a successive of \'delighters\', small models that can quickly provide high-level answers to some of the most difficult problems in infrastructure and system operations domain today.
Business Function
The Data AI/ML Analyst - IT infrastructure and System, is part of the Technology Services (TS) under Technology & Operations organization. TS operates and supports core infrastructure for the Bank including mainframe, data center, enterprise monitoring, enterprise job scheduling, active directory, access management, end point devices management, and end user services management. TS is seeking to use data and AI/ML technologies to enhance the effectiveness, timeliness, and scale of IT operations. There are numerous diverse data sources, viewpoints, and timeframes for this role to bring together to build innovative, intelligent, and secured products incorporating ML technologies with other developers and product owners.
The AIOps Opportunity
We\'re looking for someone who is technically literate and understands various ML (machine learning) techniques and how to apply them. You should be experienced in Python (or other languages used in the field of AI/ML) using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), to build Machine Learning Models and visualizations using common toolsets such as Grafana, Power BI, etc. Beside machine learning models, we are also experimenting use of other AI techniques like Natural Language Processing, and Digital Twin representations. The cadence of work will follow Agile principles and structure. The range of data sets will cover logs, metrics, and events generated from our operations.
Your knowledge of models, dashboards, and data preparation would be well exercised, and we\'d like you to go on a journey with us to build AIOPS (AI operations) in DBS IT infrastructure regionally. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to participate in promoting, shaping, and advising AIOPS to application teams.
Responsibilities
