Job Summary

• Responsible for regional operational process and controls management; and regulatory adherence including regulatory reporting and process review/implementation.

Job Role

• Ensure regulatory and internal policies adherence for regional retail consumer banking operations including process review/implementations reporting to meet governance requirements across locations
• Oversight and implementation of regional surveillance mechanisms of sales activities through health checks and best practices across various channels
• Perform data analysis and provide periodic update for regulatory reporting and to management on control assurance matters
• Collaborate with stakeholders on various initiatives to transform internal and external client journey to maximize efficiency
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance risk/control culture and awareness
• Support business management for retail CRS and FATCA regime and related regulatory reporting and remediation

Requirements

• Degree qualification, with at least 8-10 years\' experience in the financial services industry, preferably with relevant experience in consumer banking middle office managing process and control assurance for operations and sales.
• Knowledge of consumer banking and relevant experience in various MAS polices in retail banking is desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge to prepare timely and accurate reports for management purposes and regulatory compliance.
• Have a strong control and process management mindset, with experience in managing end to end risk and implementing sound controls
• Able to embrace and lead changes, and to take actions and hold self-accountable to drive solutions
• Proactive team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision and equips with excellent communication (both spoken and written), presentation and business writing skills
• Able to collaborate within a team, at various levels of stakeholders from the operating level to the senior management across locations
