JOB DESCRIPTION JOB FUNCTION : Communications & Marketing Expert (VP/Director) DEPARTMENT : Communications & Brand Experience, WB APAC REPORTING TO : Head, Communications & Brand Experience, WB APAC Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement regional communications and marketing plan to increase brand awareness and equity in the APAC region
Work closely with global communications and marketing teams to develop and implement global communications and marketing strategies that align with company goals, business plans, revenue goals and strategic objectives
Ensure effective use of budgets relating to marketing activities
Manage participation in events, conferences, sponsorships and awards to enhance our brand awareness and align to our strategic priorities
Identify and manage external awards participation end-to-end, from nomination (drafting of submissions) to publicity
Pitch and manage speaking opportunities at seminars/conference/industry events for senior executives, including the preparation of content, presentation slides and talking points
Lead and manage all sponsorship activities end-to-end, including collaborating with various stakeholders and external partners/agencies on the planning and implementation of events and sponsorship engagements
Support PR efforts such as media interviews, media releases, media queries etc., related to the awards, events and sponsorships
Channel management \xe2\x80\x93 website, intranet, social media (LinkedIn)
Support internal communications activities, develop senior leader communications and coordinate within the Asia Pacific network to ensure alignment to business strategy and priorities
Oversee the application of corporate brand identity across marketing materials and channels
Prepare reports and presentations on marketing metrics to present to management
Experience / Competencies
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related field
More than 10 years of experience in communications and marketing
Good integrated marketing experience comprising marketing communications, corporate branding, digital marketing, PR/media, events and sponsorship management
Strategic thinker, creative in executions with an eye for details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Data driven with strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal and senior stakeholder management skills
Collaborative team player
Experience in managing external agencies and vendors
Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred but not essential
