INTRODUCTION
Thomson\xe2\x80\x93East Coast line (TEL) is a medium-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore that is currently under construction, being the sixth line to be built. The line was announced on 15 August 2014 by the Land Transport Authority. The fully underground line is 43 km long and consists of 31 stations, 2 Operation Control Center (OCC), 2 Depots, and will be among the world\'s longest driverless rapid transit lines. The line will open in five stages from 2019 onwards and will be operated by Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT).
Under T252 contract, Alstom will design, supply, install and commission the signaling Urbalis 400 Communications-based train control (CBTC) system and platform screen doors for Thomson Line. TEL is a complex and challenging project for which Alstom as System Wide Contractor (SWC) needs to interface with other 40 SWCs, 35 Civil Works and 5 A/E consultants.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Site based Warranty Engineer (Incident management, Fault and Defect analysis / monitoring / closure, including investigation and reporting on site) for TEL project during the Defect Liability Period/Extended Warranty period.
• Defect Liability Period/Extended Warranty period starts at the completion of the work of each stage and hand over of the system to the operator
• The Warranty Engineer reports to the Project Warranty Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To lead site investigation based on the approved procedures and specification
• To analyse the anomalies / faults / defects found during Warranty period and perform troubleshooting
• To support the warranty manager in the daily tasks (e.g. Configuration FollowUp, Progress Report, Investiagtion report,\xe2\x80\xa6)
• To interface with Engineering team for problem solving and associated planning
• To raise Change Request to Engineering team
• To interface with Customer for technical and planning meetings
• To interface with other Contractor (SWC) whenever requested

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

EDUCATION

• Degree in Engineering

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

• Min. 3 years of experience in Signalling installation/Commissioning execution experience
• Strong knowledge of business processes
• Good knowledge of signalling system design
• Strong experience in Maintenance, repair, software deployment.
• Knowledge of railway signalling industry standards
• Strong abilities to write reports and update Key Performance Indicators
