Job Description


As a Business Associate, you'll drive structure and discipline around each initiative using standard project deliverables and frameworks, including establishing scope and performing detailed business impact analysis in support of management decisions. Additionally, you'll define roles and responsibilities, establish and document requirements, resolve resource/scheduling conflicts, escalate and ensure issues/decisions are resolved, manage changes to project scope, document and complete testing requirements, create and manage implementation plans, and lead/participate in meetings at the operational and project level. You'll provide continuous feedback on project status and issues and serve as the overall escalation point to ensure the project tracks to original expectations.

Specific Duties

  • Contribute to a business on a significant growth journey - we need your mindset to help prepare us for that journey.
  • Participate in global business initiatives and provide continuous improvement through identifying best practices in products / processes / systems.
  • Develop and manage project plans and provide updates for senior management on project status, issues and benefits to the business
  • Develop product management expertise in strategic products (eg derivatives) and lead the transformation initiative from a credit SME perspective Bring a client focused service led mindset and expand that across the team.
  • Challenge current process and propose enhancement
  • Lead the controls agenda for the team and strive for regional consistency
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, credit policies and guidelines. Provide policy and systems' advice and support to Credit Executives, Regional counter-parts in EMEA and other Operations teams

Extended Responsibilities
  • Self-starter to drive improvements of manual processes via self-service automation tools
  • Lead/Perform deep dives in core functions to identify opportunities for enhancements from a front to back perspective; Identify new tools and capabilities to solve problems with opportunities to engage Fintech partners
  • Partner closely with our Risk and Lending teams to develop an end-to-end service delivery capabilities
  • Critical thinker who is able to provide creative solutions for the team and effect change
  • Lead development of core metrics to measure service levels and transformation benefits
  • Be an enabler for key change opportunities by engaging cross functional teams and capabilities.
  • Key Stakeholder management within Asia and across the globe
  • Establish strong partnerships with business, technology and operations expertise
  • Manage high performing technical team and prioritize ruthlessly for best in class execution

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a credit middle office or control function, or other work experience in Wealth Management
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic and changing team environment is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels, including senior management
  • Strong solution based problem solving and analytical skills, able to add value rather than just accept the status-quo
  • Influence the business to transform/change current state
  • Computer skills: Excel basic to Intermediate level, MS Access, Power Point and Word. Knowledge of automation tools viz. Alteryx, Xceptor, Signavio
