Focus on ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families for Southeast Asia market coverage team
Support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts
Operate in both banker and investor capacity, and handle/coordinate with various teams on both overall account inquiries/maintenance as well as on investment-related aspects
Articulate and deliver strategic messages to their portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes
Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks
Partner with the client including (but not limited to) updating KYC information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer and handling client ad-hoc queries.
Collaborate with the other integrated team members to provide a high quality of client service
Keeping track of Clients, AUMs and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance
Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years' experience of wealth management experience along with strong client and stakeholder management skills
University degree qualified or equivalent, in any discipline
Strong written and spoken language skills; knowledge of regional languages such as Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus given the Southeast Asia team has coverage across Singapore, Indonesia and/or Malaysia markets
Experience in a wealth management firm is strongly preferred, having dealt directly with clients in an investment advisory and relationship manager capacity
Ideally understand and have a working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly.
Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) who can positively engage and influence clients as well as internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
Must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank.
As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JPM, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
