Job Description

: The Web Editor will be supporting one of our key accounts in the EMEA region - an information and analytics company specializing in scientific, technical, and medical content. The Web Application Specialist will work closely with the client's web team to maintain, improve and develop the website.

• He/She will be working with the Content Management System (Squiz Matrix) as well as advising on important elements and aspects such as SEO and website performance.
• He / She must be able to develop well-written and maintainable codes that adhere to coding standards and work with assigned platforms or CMS (SquizMatrix). He / She should be able to convert wireframes or designs into high-quality and responsive websites. He should be able to meet the hours and deadlines that have been set for each project and task.
• He / She should be able to follow instructions given by the client, consistently collaborate with teammates and provide better solutions and/or workaround, and create, execute, or influence strategies for the account or the team.
• He should be able to undergo trainings and consistently adhere and follow set proven processes and coding standards.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's/College Degree preferably Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years work experience in the related field

• Expertise in commonly used web CMS(s), such as WordPress, Drupal, etc. Knowledge of SquizMatrix is preferred

• Expert-level understanding of commonly used internet browsers

• Strong understanding of CSS, XML and HTML5

• Basic understanding of JavaScript

• Fundamental understanding of SEO is a plus

• Familiarity with video and audio content

• Knowledge and experience with optimization of website(s) for mobile friendly content

• Problem solving / Analytical thinking

• Understanding of editing tools (Photoshop)

• Understanding of Adobe Analytics is a plus / good-to-have
