Job Description
s for the Position of Wood Worker
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required for each project.
- Measure, mark, and cut wood and other materials to the required size and shape using electrical saws, chisels, planes, and other hand and power tools.
- Build and install customised crates and pallets.
- Repair and replace damaged or defective parts of wooden structures.
- Maintain and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.
- Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a Carpenter or a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using manual table saws, hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise measurements.
- Physical fit condition and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours as overtime is needed.
- Workplace nearby Tukang Innovation Drive (Jalan Boon Lay Area - West Area)
- 8am to 5.30pm.
- Monday to Friday / Saturday would be with OT paid.
- Salary up to $2000.
