Job Purpose
The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is a key administration department within the University that is responsible in the support of all matters relating to human capital lifecycle management with strategic alignment to NUS\xe2\x80\x99s vision, mission and goals. This role is responsible for the conduct and assessment of work-culture studies for the different faculties, schools, research centres and administrative departments. The results and outcomes are workshopped with stakeholder groups with the aim to develop a positive work culture in the university. In addition, the incumbent is part of the strategic and planning team that leads talent sustainability initiatives which are agenda items of talent governance and strategy. The role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and the Administration, Planning and Policy (APP) unit in OHR.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will play a key role in supporting the Administration, Planning and Policy (APP) unit and coordinate with the rest of OHR and other stakeholders.
Assist in preparing for meetings, including gathering relevant materials, creating agendas, and distributing them to all attendees.
Attend meetings as requested, take accurate meeting minutes, and distribute them in a timely manner.
Tracking follow up on action items and deliverables resulting from meetings, ensuring they are completed within specified timelines.
Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations as required.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Collaborate with the CPO and other team members to develop and maintain centralised repositories for important information.
Timely completion of duties and initiatives as assigned.
Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Apply sustainability principles and concepts for Sustainable HR
Drive positive work culture initiatives
Work with engagement lead to support engagement and DEI initiatives.
Work Experience and Requirements
A recognised honours degree (Business, Management, Human Resources will be advantageous)
Prior work experience of 5 years and above
Experience in motivation and engagement, sustainability-related work.
A personal contributor and team player
Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational, creative problem-solving and presentation skills.
Good project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams.
Resilient and agile with ability to work independently and collaboratively with different stakeholders to manage change and achieve goals.
Business Process Re-engineering and Project Management experience will also be advantageous.
Desire to pursue continuing education for self development
Motivated individual with a purpose in his or her vocation
