Regularly attend talks and networking events by the relevant statutory board to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant Act, and its Technical Guidelines and Procedures
Ensure policies and procedures are in compliance
Create an immersive visitor experience outcomes through use of experiential, thematic and integrative strategies which include site tours sharing its rich history and unique architecture, and discussions with potential visitors and event venue clients
Champion experiential concepts, and seek sponsorships and partnerships to develop and enhance its attractiveness and business propositions
Serve as Venue Manager, offering excellent visitor and client experience, and providing exceptional hospitality services for partners, Guests of Honour (GOHs) and VIPs
Active involvement in visitor management in its public spaces, including venue booking, manning the reception, etc.
Liaison between visitors and/or clients, and in-house operations and events teams
Able to communicate and resolve any deficiencies between:
Visitors and/or clients, and in-house operations and events teams, and
Internal team members for problems or issues that require General Admin support
Address and resolve all issues and complaints with professionalism
Maintain excellence in upkeeping and presentation of the workplace
Oversee and manage the Office Administration Team, policies and procedures
Lead and manage all internal company events
Identify, assess and manage potential risks in the workplace and adhere to fire and safety protocols and emergency evacuation procedures to ensure employees' and visitors' safety and business continuity
Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 7 years' experience in customer service or event or workplace management
Excellent customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, including strong organisational and report writing skills
Possess a positive and motivated personality with good initiative, and pro-active with a high level of commitment meeting deadlines
Strong team player, meticulous, analytical and resourceful with the ability to work independently
Able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment and handle complex situations calmly and professionally
Comfortable with working schedules on weekends when required (eg. events)
