Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love.That\xe2\x80\x99s what makes us Roche.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workplace Operations Partner to provide temporary support for our Workplace Team, which focuses on Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) initiatives as well as the management of office facilities. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assisting with day-to-day facilities management. As the Workplace Operations Partner, you will collaborate closely with the Workplace Team to support ongoing projects and facilitate daily operational tasks, contributing to a safe and effective workplace environment.The OpportunityAssist in maintaining and updating safety documentation, risk assessments, gap assessments, and incident reports to ensure compliance and accuracy. Monitor adherence to safety regulations and report any issues to the Workplace Lead.Support the coordination of SHE-related training sessions and safety drills to enhance employee preparednessPrepare reports on SHE performance metrics, providing insights for decision-making and improvement initiatives based on compliance findings as well as coordinate logistics for SHE and facilities projects, including renovations and equipment installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Assist in identifying and addressing workplace safety and security hazards, ensuring that fire exits are unobstructed, emergency lighting is functional, security systems are operational, and evacuation routes are clearly marked and accessible.Assist in day-to-day facilities operations by liaising with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair activities.Track and manage facility requests from employees, including repairs and equipment needs, to ensure timely responses and resolutions.Help manage inventory for safety supplies and office essentials, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient ordering processes. Support space planning initiatives and office renovation projects to optimize workplace efficiency and comfort.Assist in implementing digital tools and processes to enhance workplace operations, promote innovation, and improve employee experiences. Manage data related to SHE performance and facility operations, utilizing technology to track trends and inform decision-making.Who you areYou should hold a Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Safety, Facilities Management) with at least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, engineering operations, or related roles.You should have previous experience in SHE, Facilities, or a related field is an advantage as well as basic knowledge of safety regulations and workplace health standards.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
