Task and Responsibilities

• Manage, Implement and Update the project EOHS Management System
• Review, Advise and Implement Project method statements-risk assessment
• Advise project management on matters pertaining to EHS
• Ensure Project are in compliance to all applicable WSH legal and other requirements
• Attend to all liaisons with the Authorities on EHS matters, including but not limited to MOM, NEA, PUB, LTA, etc
• Establish, Implement and Review Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
• Identify and Establish WSH training plan for project
• Manage and Conduct project WSH training including site induction
• Establish and Organize WSH promotion & campaigns
• Identify, Establish and Enforce project EHS rules & regulations
• Conduct regular WSH Inspections and Audit for compliance to project requirement
• Establish a report for all Inspections and Audits including Corrective & Preventive Actions
• Review and Assess permit to work system
• Conduct Investigation and Analysis of incidents in accordance to established procedure
• Measure and Monitor project EHS performances including preparation of monthly safety report
• Establish and Manage project WSH group meetings
• Organize, Manage and Act as secretary to the project Monthly WSH Committee meeting
• Manage and Act as chairman to the weekly WSH coordination meeting
• Advocate and Promote a strong WSH culture on site
• Lead and Manage project WSH Personnel
• Any other duties as stipulated in Authorities
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management staff

• Minimum Specialist Diploma in WSH or relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction industry as WSH personnel
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Registered ECO with NEA
• Confine Space Assessor Competent.
• Occupational First Aid Course Competent.
• Knowledgeable in safety, health and environmental legislations
• Experience in leading internal and external Audits
• Experience in plant construction environment.
• Able to work in challenging environment and cope with aggressive schedule.
• Proficient with MS Office and tech savvy
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Possess good leadership and organizing abilities
