Develop and enforce safety policies to meet regulatory and company standards.
Ensure compliance with WSH laws through regular audits and inspections.
Work with regulatory bodies (e.g., Ministry of Manpower) to maintain safety compliance.
Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement safety measures.
Coordinate with teams to ensure safe practices on projects.
Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective actions.
Deliver safety training and hold regular safety talks and drills.
Foster a safety-focused culture and encourage employee responsibility for safety.
Continuously improve safety practices by analyzing data and trends.
Create and update emergency response plans, including fire safety and evacuation.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in workplace safety and health, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification is mandatory.
Additional certifications, such as Fire Safety Manager or ISO Lead Auditor, are a plus.
