Workshop Manager (Construction)





Our client is a construction company. They are currently seeking for Workshop Manager (Construction) to lead workshop operations and inventory management team.





The role of the Workshop Manager (Construction) includes:


Oversee daily operations of the workshop and store, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians, electricians, mechanics, welders, fabricators, and store personnel. Plan and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and servicing of construction machinery and equipment. Manage inventory control processes, including parts tracking, stock replenishment, and procurement coordination. Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely availability and dispatch of equipment, tools, and materials. Monitor workshop performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize operational efficiency.
Job Requirement:


Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in the Construction Industry Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in inventory management, spare parts control, and safety regulations Experience in construction equipment maintenance is an advantage
