Are you ready to jump onboard?We are looking for a Workshop Manager and the requirements are as follows:

• Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
• Plan and organize the day to day operations of the workshop, including scheduling work, allocating resources and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Maintain high standard of workmanship and quality and to implement any necessary improvements to processes or procedures.
• Recruiting and training as well as managing their staff performance and to address any issues that may arise within the team.
• Lead problem solving task for assigned function, product(s)
• Ensuring employees adhere to Wartsila requirements & policies
• Responsible for all daily activities related to assigned function management
• Overall managing of the operations, activities, and processes in the Workshop.
• Ensure all Corporate and Country QEHS updates and information are timely disseminated and shared with the work floor personnel
• Specify new products, processes, standards based on organization strategy or set short- to mid -term operational plans

• Strong understanding of cultural differences when managing serval different nationalities
• Excellent written and verbal English and interpersonal skills

• Flexible and willing to adapt and learn new systems and new way of working
• Strong technical communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Team player attitude
