Our client is an A2 main-contractor looking for a WSH Manger to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements.
Standardization of company safety policies among sites.
Assist the employer to identify and assess any foreseeable hazard arising from work activities, recommending reasonably practical measures to eliminate and reduce risk to a safe minimum level.
Plan, Implements, monitor and maintain appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out safety inspection.
Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued QOHSE integration into core operations.
Liaise with appointed auditors on the QSHE Management System.
Preparation of Site Environmental Control Programme.
Design and lead training to educate staff on Health & Safety.
Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on all WSH issues.
Ad-hoc duties or assignment as instructed by the Management.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years in construction industry
Valid qualification in WSH
Good knowledge in data analysis and risk management
5.5 days work week
