Liaise closely with Senior Manager, EHS (Environment Health Safety) and Head of Project to develop, implement, maintain, and improve EHS Management Systems and safety culture at project level.
Lead daily toolbox meeting, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other EHS initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at work site.
Monitor and take disciplinary actions against unsafe acts/conditions on project site to comply with the Company Safety Management System and the WSHA and its subsidiary legislation.
Responsible for accident reporting and investigations including near misses and any industrial disease cases at work site.
Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities.
Requirements:
Must be a registered WSHO with the relevant authorities with at least 3 years' of relevant working experience in a construction firm
Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, good interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude
3 to 5 years of relevant experience on Building projects is a must.
