Assist in ensuring the safe custody of the residents under the Centre care 5. Assist in submission of reports of all serious incidents or occurrences of unusual or serious nature pertaining to the residents to the Head of Home 6. Guide and motivate residents to a higher level of behavioural performance and development 7. Assist in ensuring that all records, documents and correspondence are updated promptly and filed accordingly 8. Conduct regular checks on the facilities and electrical works in the Centre 9. Responsible for collecting and labelling food samples for every meal 10. Ensure that kitchen area is clean and tidy at all times 11. Maintain safekeeping of all utensils in the kitchen 12. Assist in supervision of residents during shower and praying time 13. Support staff in supervision of residents during outings 14. Assist Senior Welfare Officer with supervising of landscaping, follow up on pest control routine service work. 15. Ensure the general cleanliness and maintenance of the Centre is in running order. 16. Attend to donors and visitors to the Centre 17. Attend to phone calls and enquiries 18. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Head of the Home, Licensee and Governing Board Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies: 1. Ability to model and teach positive values, demonstrate social and emotional competencies 2. Ability to develop and maintain a relationship of trust and professionalism with youths Core Competencies: 1. Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays 2. Team player and positive mindset 3. Has passion working with youths Preferred achievements / characteristics: 1. Minimum N or O Level, Diploma in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling 2. Has prior experience in working with and mentoring youths 3. Min 1 year experience working in Residential Homes Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
