Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Art Lead to deliver high quality textured 3D Character, costumes and props for production
  • Create realistic/ stylised 3D models to complement the story and background of the characters
  • Ensure the 3D character is consistent with the visual and technical specifications to produce quality and optimized model
  • Translate 2D designs into high quality 3D art assets quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with our Art Lead and Development Team in contributing to our Art Style Guides.
  • Translate your ideas and drafts into presentable explanations and demonstrations.
  • Identify disparities and opportunities for improvement within the creative process.
  • Sculpt, Model, UV/Texture, and integrate both high and low polygon meshes in a PBR (Physically based rendering) pipeline .
  • Take an active role in maintaining and refining the Art Director\xe2\x80\x99s vision.
  • Research, explore, and communicate best practices and approaches in art.
  • Contribute to formal and informal critique, and provide effective feedback to other artists for their development.
  • Respond to changes in requirements during production
  • Improve 3D production processes and specifications
  • Review and revise the art work
  • Involved in the integration of VFX with technology to get desired visuals. Work closely with the programming team to get a functional pipeline of the system for the VFX/artists team to iterate on the quality.
  • Support the team by creating and iterating on game assets including particle effects, geometry, full-screen post effects and custom shaders.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in a Art or Games related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in the gaming industry
  • Strong overall artistic ability in visual effects
  • Excellent knowledge of the 3D pipeline and it\xe2\x80\x99s software (3DS Max, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop)
  • Understanding of skinning and rigging
  • Good knowledge on the PBR workflow
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Able to receive and adapt to feedback and changes quickly
  • Excellent communication with other members in the pipeline
  • Meticulous and pro-active to solve problems
  • Imaginative and innovative to create good game experience
  • Proficient in unity and/or unreal engine
  • Passionate in Game Design, Game Development.
