They invests heavily in consumer driven products and segments such as consumer goods, retail and healthcare within the Southeast Asia region. Due to business expansion, they are currently looking for a Accountant to be based in Singapore reporting directly to the Financial Controller in Singapore

Description

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller in Singapore, your key responsibilities would include:

• Handling full sets of account including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger

• Reconciliation of Balance Sheets accounts including creditors, fixed assets and banks

• Assist on preparation of management accounts and audited financial statements

• Assist on tax and statutory audit compliance, including internal audit

• Assist on preparing Quarterly GST submission and other statutory returns (working with consultants)

• Assist on annual budget preparation and monitoring

• Assist in MAS compliance requirement including annual/onboarding customers/service providers due diligence and maintain MAS compliance checklist

• Handle filing and ensure the completeness of administrative documentation

Profile

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance

• More than 3 years of working experience in Accounting preferably within the Private Equity space

• Well versed with hands on experience in Full sets of accounts, reconciliation, management and financial reporting

• Knowledgeable in tax matters and filings, budgeting, forecasting

• The cash remuneration for this role will range between $54,000 - $70,000 excluding bonuses and other benefits
