With us, you are encouraged to lead with your heart and values, and where your unique skills are developed and put to work in unexpected and exciting ways, superpowered by technology.We are now looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager to be responsible for the following:Manage the daily operational and administrative matters of Actuarial offices in Southeast Asia, with the assistance of local secretaries/administratorsMonitor staff utilisation and bookings, and resolve resource conflictsPrepare monthly and annual budget, regular forecast, and other operational and management reports, and report to both the local management and the leading Actuarial team in Hong Kong (70% of the role)Facilitate the promotion and salary review process, including preparation of relevant materials, organisation and facilitation of performance evaluation meetings, etcManage a team of secretaries and administrators to provide secretarial and administrative support to the groupWork closely with Actuarial Operations Managers / administrators at other locations to ensure alignment of operational practicesLiaise with HR department on recruitment activities, including experienced hires, trainees, secondments and graduates, and other HR matters such as resignations, transfers, pay arrangements, leave management, examination assistance and implementation of HR policiesAct as the central point of contact with other departments, including IT, HR, Learning & Development, Risk and Quality, Marketing and Communications, central admin, etc.Organize team meetings and gatherings on a regular basisProvide training and daily support on the use of Financial toolsParticipate in ad hoc projects if requiredAbout you:A degree in business administration / accounting / finance is preferredA minimum of 6 years of working experience with three or more years on a role of administrative managementPrevious working experience in a professional service firm/multinational corporation is an advantageFluency in both written and spoken EnglishExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organisational and project management skillsGood knowledge of data analysis in MS ExcelBe highly independent, well-organised and self-motivated; andAble to work under pressure and adaptive to dynamics and changing prioritiesEducation (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required:Degrees/Field of Study preferred:Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified)Required SkillsOptional SkillsDesired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified)Travel Requirements Not SpecifiedAvailable for Work Visa Sponsorship?
