The Acupuncturist provides acupuncture treatment to patients referred by a qualified medical staff.

Responsibilities

Make diagnosis and formulate acupuncture treatment plans; Explain diagnosis and treatment plans to patients or relatives.

Assist to collate statistics to monitor performance of staff and section; Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of patient\xe2\x80\x99s information.

Assist in departmental, inter-departmental, hospital or public events; Conduct talks for external parties where required.

Requirements

The candidate must be a trained Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and / or an Acupuncturist.

To be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician Board of Singapore and have a valid practising certificate as an Acupuncturist.
