Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.The Asia Pacific Cell & Gene Therapies CoE lead - Associate Director is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Cell and Gene COE, driving the overall success of infrastructure builds and CART commercial operations for APAC in order to deliver excellent customer and patient experiences. The successful candidate should ideally have Cell & Gene commercial operations experience, be a strong leader with excellent communication and collaboration skills .KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary responsibilities for this leadership position will include but not limited to:- Setting the overall regional Cell and Gene CoE strategy, developing business plan and programs and overseeing its execution- Core member of the Cell and Gene IVT teams, responsible for defining the operational requirements of the assets, designing the go-to-market model and leading the infrastructure build in order to ensure people, process and system readiness.- Lead the COE and OpCo teams in launch readiness efforts for Carvykti and monitor progress across global manufacturing, site and commercial readiness workstreams- Lead the implementation and execution of the centralized integrated operations model for AP Cell and Gene Therapies in partnership with OpCos- Evolve the AP Cell and Gene operational capabilities based on launch learnings, internal and external needs, ensuring a future-ready scalable operating model- Ensure close alignment with the Supply Chain, Commercial Operations and support functions across global, regional and OpCo teams- Track key performance KPIs for operations across the region, accountable to manage escalations and mitigation strategies- Manages APAC commercial operations via APAC commercial operations manager- 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry , hematology / oncology or cell therapy experience desired- Proven ability to operate, lead and influence in a highly matrixed environment.- Strategic thinking and leadership- Background in account management, supply chain or operations- People management experience- Project management experience- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change- Understanding of hospital operations- Experience with Biologics development, manufacturing is a plus- Bachelor\'s degree required; advanced degree preferred.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:- Strong communicator to influence and negotiate across all levels of a matrix organization- Demonstrate resilience and strategic thinking to manage ambiguity and dynamic business environment- Ability to cultivate senior level relationships and create partnerships with stakeholders- English proficiency- Ability to work in highly matrixed environment & leading by influence required- Strong analytical skills to understand data (forecast, operational metrics) , recognize key issues & establish business priorities
