This role will be based in Singapore and reporting into Hub Controller, APAC . Primary responsibilities are to ensure that the Grid Edge Solutions business in Asia Pacific delivers the financial performance and meets the financial targets, take overall financial responsibility for the P&L result of the Grid Edge Solutions business coordinate activities with Hitachi Energy Country units where the Grid Edge business is represented Financial business partner to APAC region for Grid Edge Solutions business The position holder is also expected to be responsible for overall project controlling activities in APAC region. Your responsibilities

• Provides decision support to GPG manager and HUB management with fast and high quality financial information (budget, forecast, actuals)
• Keeps cost under control and initiates adjustments as early as possible
• Identify opportunities of cost savings within the business
• Review and approve all financial elements of tenders submitted for risk review and comply with the company risk review polices and procedures
• Tender stage : Supports the tender manager by reviewing and advising on financial/commercial aspects. Participates in negotiations on contractual terms and conditions (clients, consortia, subcontractors, suppliers), risk reviews, contract structuring and negotiations, tax issues, cash flow analysis, assignment conditions,
• Review and approve that financial cost calculation, cash-flow and exposure curves are prepared properly
• Coordinates with tax, treasury and legal best possible ways to sell in challenging countries
• Ensure all projects in execution are reviewed and comply with the business’s project review polices and procedures
• Coordinates finance support and maintains good relationship with local Hitachi Energy management
• Supports business development and restructuring activities in APAC region
• Responsible for budget setting for grid edge solutions business in APAC
• Assist in coordinating pass through business for in APAC region
• Revenue recognition policy responsible in APAC region for Grid Edge solutions

Your background

• Charted accountant and/or MBA required or equivalent, >7 years’ experience in Electrical Manufacturing or Power Industry or similar role
• Experience across Electrical Industry within construction, Utilities, Power Generation or Power Systems projects an advantage
• Awareness of power system technology
• Experience in project controlling ,risk review
• cost management, cost analysis and cost optimization.
• Knowledge on construction accounting experience is highly desired.
• Advanced computer skills across SAP, MS Office, MSTeams, Outlook, Sharepoint, SalesForce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail
• Expresses opinions, able to work with multiple stakeholders and positions
• Ability to work with different cultures and nationalities and time zones
