Sets the Cooper Vision Master Brand and Corporate reputation communication strategy in line with global guidance.
Develops, socializes, and aligns external marketing communication campaigns to establish and enhance the Cooper Vision Brand and key ESG / Sustainability activities among industry, customers, and the public.
Leads all PR activities for APAC: from agency appointment, communication strategy, campaign and content development, calendar management, compliance, and measurement.
Partners effectively with Global, Regional, Local marketing teams to socialize, plan, deploy PR brand activities.
Cultivates and maintains relationship with media outlets. Manages press inquiries and coordinates interviews.
Support regional executive exposure within industry and public forums.
Leads the development, alignment, and execution of an annual Marcom Calendar
Contributes to planning, execution and follow-up of industry event ensuring brand standards are incorporated in design and materials, support the PR amplification plans, and the communication outcomes.
Master Brand Standards
Creates regionally specific Master Brand Stories in collaboration with Global and Local cross-functional team. Adapt global stories with regional/ Local nuances.
Ensures all marketing collaterals comply with Master Brand global standards. Ensures marketing community is trained on the standards and requirements.
Manages the AdPromo / Agile Process to insure appropriate claims references across marketing collaterals.
Crisis Management:
As an APAC key point of contact for crisis management develop and implement crisis management plan, ensure compliance to legal and regulatory standards, train employees to ensure readiness in event of crisis.
Collaborate with global as well as appointed crisis management agency to effectively support and manage risks of global, regional, and local incidences.
Activate the crisis management plan promptly when crisis occurs. Effectively collaborates cross functionally to establish clear lines of communication and coordination for effective crisis management.
Agency Management
Strengthen and oversee the relationships with external agencies, vendors and partners.
Manages pitch process, agency selection, contract development and performance measurement for key agency partners (optimize agency dollars, scorecard process, RFPs etc.)
Writes strong briefs that articulate brand strategy and objectives, enabling effective execution of marcom initiatives. Creates strong standards.
Internal Comms
In close collaboration with Senior Management and HR, craft and disseminate internal messages aligned with corporate values, goals, and objectives.
Facilitate change management communication during organizational changes, making sure employees are well informed and supportive of the transition.
Manage internal APAC communication platforms.
Plan, develop, and implement internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, consistent messaging and updates in organizational goals and objectives.
Continuously assess / improve the impact of internal communications.
Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated influencing and collaboration skills; ability to build effective relations and manage diverse, remote, and cross-functional teams Global/ Regional and local.
Evidence of track record of self-starting, creatively thinking, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team, and looking for ways to improve on current practices required.
Demonstrated proficiency in successfully, and simultaneously, managing the execution of multiple cross-functional marcom projects required.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills required-this role produce content.
Experience in managing and measuring agencies-creative, digital and PR required.
Experience with digital content management systems, such as Drupal, and experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as SFDC & MailChimp, desired.
Proficiency with office software including Microsoft Office and Outlook required.
Multiple Asian language skills an advantage
Experience:
8-10 years\' experience in a marketing communication, brand management, content creation required.
Preferably from a fast-paced, highly innovative healthcare/ consumer healthcare business
Demonstrated accountability and ownership in driving end-to-end project life cycle.
Collaborative team player with leadership qualities
Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels of the organization, create interdepartmental links based on different projects with a respective level of integrity.
Experience of working in a US Multinational or regional environment would be an advantage.
