We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world\'s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.Job duties:We are looking for an Application Developer to design and code functional programs and applications. You will work as part of a small team with some degree of operational support and user system training required.A great Application Developer has excellent knowledge of at least one programming language. They must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mind-set and a keen eye for detail.The goal is to write "clean" and flawless code to produce fully functional software applications according to requirements.

  • Develop (code, test, deliver) or modify as required Equity Derivatives system(s) to meet business and quality requirements
  • Provide Operation Support Services throughout the trading day to ensure continuous operation and availability.
  • Liaise with business users and technical managers to define requirements and ensure that global standards are met and maintained throughout the lifecycle.
  • Documentation of code, algorithms, interfaces and APIs and maintained in a standard repository.
  • Provide support personnel with appropriate system knowledge and understanding.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with operational risk requirements (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements)
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines.
  • Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and systems.
Person SpecificationKnowledge
  • Understanding of options, equities, and other financial instruments is preferred
  • Strong MS platform knowledge and experience essential
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of strong experience with programming in Visual Studio .Net, particularly C#.
  • Experience with both UI (WPF) and application/service tier development (WCF)
  • Database design and programming (preferably with SQL Server 2012/2016 experience)
  • Financial markets experience especially equity product is preferred
  • Must be familiar with the software development life cycle
