Position Overview

Role & Responsibilities

• Support IT strategy relating to end-to-end Supply Chain technology suite in key areas of SAP ERP, Corporate and enterprise applications with a good understanding of logistics domain, including transport, warehousing and work automations to ensure innovative IT solutions for stakeholders.
• Participate in defining business systems requirements together, with functional teams.
• Perform feasibility studies to analyze costs and benefits trade-offs systems solutions to manage ROI and project scope, timeline and budget for key projects.
• Assist in identification of new areas of automation and enhancement of existing systems to meet the needs of the business unit.
• Oversees the design, development, testing and implementation of new systems.
• Support infrastructure and teams to ensure hardware and software evaluation.
• Provide the end-to-end IT Project and Implementation efforts. Monitor & review deliverables in various stages in systems and/or projects development cycle.
• Strategic partnership with key users and business stakeholders in prioritization and demand management.
• Effective vendor management with distinctive performance in AMS SLA (IT Outsourcing) and individual contractors.
• Act as coach and mentor to team members, define standards, monitor performance and provide leadership.
• Competitive monitoring and evaluation of competitive Logistics Technology products-proactively to ensure that technology remains viable, efficient and competitive.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent 10-15 work experience, is required.
• Minimum 10 - 15 years working experience in related freight, warehousing, distribution, transport management and supply chain-related services.
• Successful record of leading, introducing, and implementing innovation and development in areas of solutions, service, and technology.
• Has led a team of IT professionals for at least 5 years with strong managerial skills.
• Experiences in SAP ERP and Supply Chain Management Modules.
• Good working knowledge in Supply Chain applications
• Knowledgeable in Automation is an advantage.
• Need to possess good leadership management -People Management, Project Management, IT Management, Logistics/Supply Chain Management).
• Strong IT background and well balanced between solid business/marketing sense and the execution aspects.
• Must truly understand the SDLC and how it works.
