Area Sales Manager We are looking for a high-performance Area Sales Manager who is responsible for making sure sales targets are met within the designated sales area or territory.

Area Sales Managers develop a close relationship with all their major accounts to grow business organically and find new business. Area Sales Managers are experts in understanding their products, market area, trends, opportunities, and competitive activity.

The key attributes for success in this position will have someone that is passionate and patient to support customers. Selected candidate must have the maturity and personality to be able to provide the customers with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Truck & Trailer Telematics

Duties of the Area Sales Manager include:
  • Market company\xe2\x80\x99s entire product range and prospects for customers across assigned territories.
  • Craft customer offer and be able to manage the entire customer sales cycle, including pre-sales, post sales, credit management, etc.
  • Ability to respond to functional and technical aspect of customers\xe2\x80\x99 request for quotation, enquiries and orders.
  • Responsible for representing our products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars and exhibition or trade shows.
  • Develop sales tactics, set sales targets and proceed to meet targets set for designated areas.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments such as operations, technical and procurement to organise work processes.
  • Be aware of all competitive activities within major accounts.
  • Grow sale through getting new customers from current markets.
  • Ability to complete management reports on time essential
  • Create sales strategies for sales manager/ director to approve
  • Able to travel throughout the assigned sales territory.
** If you have the following background/experience in Heavy Vehicle Industry will be an advantage; Semi-trailer Products Road/Oil tanker Products Container Port Terminal Products Heavy Vehicle Trucks & Bus ** Requirements for the role:
  • Bilingual (English & Chinese) for speaking and written as this position has to communicate China Sales Counter-parts
  • Strong team leadership capabilities
  • International relationship management competency
  • Professional work integrity and sharp analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable and successful sales track record
  • Good technical background in product area is desirable
  • Good presentation skills
  • Proven record of effectively meeting sales quotas
  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage
