What the role is:Assistant Director (Digital Transformation):
provides operational and strategic support to the Director and Deputy Director in driving the implementation of the organisation's digital transformation strategy, which aligns with and supports the Community 2030 (C2030).
leads and manages digital transformation initiatives, jointly with owner divisions, and oversee day-to-day activities to advance the organisation's digital goals, enhance efficiency, and improve service delivery.
Cross-Divisional Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between the Digital Transformation Office and other PA divisions, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather feedback, understand divisional needs, and encourage collaboration on digital initiatives.
Foster a supportive environment for PA divisions to adopt new digital tools and processes.
Project Coordination:
Support in managing and coordinating digital transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the overall strategy.
Guide project leads in planning, execution, and monitoring progress, addressing issues, and facilitating communication across teams.
Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them promptly.
Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring:
Analyse project and operational data to assess the impact of digital initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to ensure projects are delivering the desired results.
Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, outlining the progress of transformation efforts.
Innovation Support:
Research emerging digital technologies and trends, assisting in evaluating their potential impact and fit for the organisation.
Coordinate pilot programs or test initiatives, gathering data to assess feasibility before full-scale implementation.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by encouraging new ideas and practices.
Change Management:
Support change management efforts by preparing materials, training, resources and delivering relevant interventions to help PA units adapt to new digital tools and practices.
Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions to enhance digital literacy and awareness across the organisation.
Address concerns raised by PA divisions, providing guidance on overcoming challenges in digital adoption.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Engage with stakeholders regularly to keep them informed about project updates, addressing questions or concerns proactively.
Create and manage communication materials, including project updates, presentations, and circulars, to ensure transparency and engagement.
Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.
Cover duties of DD (DT) in his / her absence
Perform other duties as and when assigned by senior officers
ExperienceMinimum - At least 5 years of experience in digital transformation, or a related role. Have good networks with public, private and people sectors.Desired - With experience in grassroots and community work. Experience in stakeholder management.Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects with measurable results.Experience or professional certification in Project Management skills or Change Management.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
