Job Description

What the role is:

You provide dedicated focus for the development and delivery of IT frontend components and projects to enhance UX/UI and user productivity. On this, you strengthen the collaboration between business owners and technical development teams so as to meet user needs and expectations. You customise frontend components of commercial off-the-shelf software deployed on Operations Support Information Technology (OSIT) systems to meet unique user and security requirements. You develop the frontend frameworks an analytics to enhance management, scalability, cross-compatibility, maintenance and security for all applications hosted on OSIT systems and equipment. You manage and execute the Multi-Year Business Plan for frontend applications in the OSIT portfolio. You work with DSTA and various vendor project teams to ensure the delivery and roll-out of projects within budget and on schedule.

What you will be working on:

Your challenge lies in having good knowledge of various technology stacks in the current production environment to support the translation of MINDEF/SAF users\' requirements into technical deliverables and performance standards. You also need to have an understanding of the overall OSIT architecture, policies and directives to ensure new products and services meet the security and compliance requirements.

What we are looking for:

You must have a tertiary qualification in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or related professional qualifications/certifications with at least 8 years\' work experience in a project management role, delivering technology products/services. Possession of knowledge and skills in full stack development as well as strong leadership and communication skills, organisation acumen, ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
