Job Description


What the role is:The Partnership and Engagement Development (PED) team drives the development of public sector capabilities, as well as plans and coordinates Whole-of-Government (WOG) public engagement and partnership efforts. You will be part of a team which guides government agencies to develop and implement partnership and engagement strategies and programmes. You will contribute to building organisational capabilities across the whole-of-government, and will have opportunities to contribute to data-driven engagement with MCCY\'s stakeholders, and strengthen public trust in our institutions.What you will be working on:You will lead a team that is responsible for developing and implementing policies and processes to develop Partnership and Engagement (PE) as a functional area for the public service. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and implement policies, strategies and programmes to develop and promote PE as a functional area within the public service \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop data strategy to maintain an overview of PE data to track and analyse impact, gaps and trends for PE across whole-of-government, and use data insights to inform partnership and engagements initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 Co-ordinate whole-of-government platforms and approaches to deliver PE Functional Leadership role \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and drive the adoption of PE frameworks, best practices, tools and guidelines in areas such as strategic planning for PE, PE data analytics, stakeholder management, impact evaluation (e.g. PE Blueprint, PE Playbook, PE Competency Framework, citizen honorarium guidelines, and digital tools such as stakeholder management repository) \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and implement Public Service Transformation (PST) initiatives related to partnership & engagement, such as PST-Citizen Engagement Excellence Award, Public Service Learning Week, Senior Leadership ForumWhat we are looking for:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in partnership and engagement, social sciences research or business analytics would be an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of initiative and willingness to learn \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes well \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong team player, with the ability to work well with other agencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage and conduct analysis through open-source statistical software (Python, R) would be useful \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective manager with a passion for developing people and building a strong team ** Shortlisted applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
