Job Title : Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager, Human Resources

Job Scope:
The incumbent will be based in China. Besides overseeing the various HR functions, the incumbent is required to support the Board as well as its Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) on remuneration and talent matters. This role will be on a 3-year renewable contract basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of HR activities, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development and international mobility;
• Work closely with the Senior Management team to identify, develop and execute HR programmes that meet business and people needs and drive employee engagement;
• Support all HR matters and obtain the necessary Board and NRC approvals;
• Lead the HR team to ensure smooth execution of HR operational matters.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in any discipline, with preference for HR and/or Business related disciplines.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience with 5 years of managerial experience.
• A strong background in Executive Compensation will be advantageous for the incumbent to succeed in this role.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese languages to be able to interact with Chinese speaking stakeholders.
• Strong influencing skills and able to thrive in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of local employment law (China).
