My client is a reputable name within the lifestyle F&B business and they have Michelin Starred restaurants under their umbrella. With a new dining concept opening, they are looking to hire an Assistant General Manager to head up the restaurant operations.

About the role

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the establishment. You will be responsible for leading all property team members in running an efficient and profitable operation, managing day-to-day store operations, maintaining high service quality standards and customer satisfaction levels, ensuring the highest standard of safety & sanitation, and fostering a positive work environment with high employee morale. You will also work closely with your GM on all operational matters and executing the long-term vision and policies. Apart from the day-to-day operational matters, you will also ensure top notch hospitality is being delivered on the ground in maintaining Michelin star standard during service. As a leader, you will lead, coach, train and manage team members to elevate service standard on the ground.

What you will bring along with you

You will be someone with at least 6 years of relevant industry experience and ideally possess a Degree/Diploma in hospitality/culinary management or its equivalent. Knowledge in POS, reservation platforms/management will be an added advantage to have. You will also be flexible, agile, and quick to think on your feet when dealing with people from all walks of life. The ability to work well under pressure and stress in a fast-paced environment will place you a league above the others. You are also a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills and demonstrates positive leadership characteristics and supervisory skills. Being hands on during service will also be a mandatory requirement for this role.
