Job Description

• Lead an application development team to design and develop the NUHS Clinician Service Point system which will support the clinicians working in hospitals within the NUHS health cluster e.g. National University Hospital, Alexandra Hospital and Ng Teng Fong Hospital.
• Conduct end users’ requirements gathering sessions including the documentation of the detailed User Requirements Specifications document for users sign-off.
• Responsible for the eventual transition to the application support maintenance
• Lead a team to develop a web-based application system built on Microsoft .Net framework and MS SQL database
• Gather and document requirements provided from internal users
• Analyse the requirements and provide technical design of the system
• Assess the requirements and provide efforts estimations including planning of technical development schedule with the Project Manager
• Lead the team in terms of .Net C# Programming for the system’s requirements with the overall technical design
• Must have a good knowledge of the .Net programming language to achieve high performance level for the web application and must be able to do hands-on programming
• Gather report requirements and develop Reports using SAP Crystal Reports
• Guide the team members to develop Testing Documentation and conduct internal system testing including detailed scenarios testing
• Setup User Acceptance Testing environment and the relevant test data including Testing Documentation
• Support users during User Acceptance Testing by collating the issues and work with team members to resolve them
• Document User Manuals and Operation Manuals
• Plan, Raise and Perform Production Deployments subjected to project manager’s approval
• Provide production support and conduct users training sessions
• Provide system maintenance support e.g. test out the system after office hours for monthly Windows Server Operating System fixes
  

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computing/System Development with at least 6 to 10 years of work experience
• Strong programming skill in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, jQuery, Angular and Bootstrap including Crystal Reports and MS SQL Database Stored Procedures
• Work experience in ASP.NET Core & Angular would be an advantage. Deep knowledge in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) especially MS SQL Database
• Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
