Responsibilities





The PIL Transformation Office oversees and coordinates key transversal development initiatives across the organization to strengthen PIL Group’s position. Steering cross-functional focus in line with management direction, the team drives enhancement, innovation and change in a fast-evolving business environment. Scope of the Business Transformation department is extensive, spanning from Group strategy development to internal organizational and process efficiency review; digitalization of supply chains to sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts. The team is dynamic with a wide range of opportunities to drive improvements. Partnering with various internal department heads, as well as external stakeholders, this role will analyse business challenges and opportunities, chart the Group’s overall strategic roadmap and take lead in planning, tracking and making recommendations as tasked.

  • Assist the Transformation Office to lead the analysis of internal Group data and external market information, in order to study strategic options that ensure PIL Group’s competitive advantage
  • Work closely with PIL management teams to conduct business reviews and needs assessment, so as to prioritize key initiatives based on value creation and build necessary medium to long term plans
  • Engage external parties such as industry partners, research consultants, institutions and authorities, to assess viability of collaboration opportunities, scale solutions and mature project deliverables
  • Build transversal framework to organize and track progress of all key initiatives underway across the organization, steering traction in line with pre-determined milestones and KPIs
  • Prepare necessary management papers and presentations to supplement discussions at PIL Board and Executives level, in support of decisions required for various ongoing strategic projects




Requirements





Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • In-house strategy, research and project management background preferred
  • Strong business writing skills and good command of English
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Team player. Work effectively with cross cultural and functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex topics into simple, compelling narratives for various audiences
